Monterrey is where we work every day. Our laboratory is at Revolución 3866, Fraccionamiento Torremolinos, and that changes how we can help local companies: besides visiting plants, we receive samples, prototypes, boards and instruments and analyze them at our own facility. For an engineering team developing a product or chasing a recurring failure, having the lab in the same city makes it easy to test, adjust the design and measure again.

The city combines industrial headquarters, design and engineering centers, universities with research programs, specialty hospitals and manufacturing that is becoming steadily more electronic. Sooner or later, all of them need measurements a handheld meter cannot provide: electromagnetic compatibility, thermal behavior, dielectric properties or calibration of process instruments.

Who needs a test laboratory in Monterrey

  • Electronics design and development: prototypes that should clear emissions and immunity checks before going to formal certification.
  • Advanced manufacturing: components that need accelerated aging, thermal cycling or thermal shock to prove reliability.
  • Materials and polymers: characterization of permittivity, resistivity and permeability for electrical applications.
  • Hospitals and clinical labs: electrical safety of medical equipment and calibration of pressure and temperature sensors.
  • Corporate users and professionals: motherboard-level laptop repair.

Many of these clients are engineers at international companies who need to reproduce a test several times while a design evolves. A nearby lab shortens that loop: a sample can come in, be measured, go back to the design team and return with a revision, all without crossing the border or shipping across the country.

The lab services Monterrey clients request most

For design teams, EMC pre-compliance testing uncovers emissions or susceptibility problems before you pay for formal certification. Programmed thermal cycling and accelerated aging tests validate solder joints, potting and connectors. For materials work, electrical resistivity, conductivity and permittivity analysis provides data for choosing insulators or coatings.

On the repair side, we bring machine controls back to life with CNC electronic board repair and fix computers through laptop motherboard repair. For plants and hospitals with process instrumentation, we offer laboratory calibration of pressure, temperature, flow and HART signals.

For field testing elsewhere in the state, see our Nuevo León page.

How we work with Monterrey companies

Inside the city, most projects mix both modes of work. You can bring or ship samples to the lab and, if you like, watch the test in person; when the measurement has to happen at your building or plant, our engineers come on-site with the equipment. Rental instruments are delivered within the city and can also ship to sister plants in other states.

The same engineers who design the protocol run the test and write the report, with no subcontractors involved. Every result is documented with photos and video, and our instruments are calibrated periodically by laboratories whose quality systems are certified by Perry Johnson Registrars, with traceability to NIST.

Frequently asked questions

Can I drop off samples in person at your Monterrey lab?

Yes. Our laboratory is at Revolución 3866, Fraccionamiento Torremolinos, Monterrey, and we are open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00. We recommend contacting us first so we can prepare the test protocol. You can also ship samples by courier if that is more convenient.

Do you run EMC tests on prototypes developed in Monterrey?

Yes. We perform EMC pre-compliance testing, including conducted emissions, electrostatic discharge, electrical fast transients and surge. It does not replace formal certification, but it lets you find and fix problems before sending the product to a certification lab, saving design iterations.

Do your engineers also perform on-site testing within Monterrey?

Yes. In addition to lab work, our engineers visit plants, hospitals and buildings in Monterrey for grounding, power quality, thermal imaging or insulation testing. Every visit is documented with photos and video and delivered with a professional report.
