Sectors we support: Export manufacturingAerospace and automotiveMiningAgribusiness and packingForestry and sawmills

Chihuahua is Mexico’s largest state, and its industry is just as varied. On the border, Ciudad Juárez has one of the densest concentrations of export manufacturing plants in the country. The state capital has built up aerospace and automotive manufacturing. The Sierra Tarahumara and the Parral area host long-established mining operations, and valleys around Cuauhtémoc and Delicias are known for apple and pecan orchards, packing houses and irrigation. Sawmills and cattle ranching round out the picture.

Each of these activities carries different electrical and mechanical risks, and a climate of extremes, with cold winters and very hot summers, puts motors, cables and transformers through harsh thermal cycles.

Chihuahua’s industrial landscape and its testing needs

Export manufacturing

Electronics, harness, auto parts and medical device plants need stable power quality, reliable grounding and calibrated instruments to maintain IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 certification.

Mining

Mine sites run large mills, conveyors, compressors and pumps, often in areas where gas detection and motor reliability are safety issues, not just production concerns. Remote locations also mean that a failed motor or a faulty instrument can take days to replace, which makes predictive testing even more valuable.

Agribusiness and forestry

Packing houses, cold storage, irrigation wells and sawmills depend on motors and drivetrains that are best checked before harvest or peak production season. A pump motor that fails mid-irrigation, or a cold room that stops with fruit in storage, is exactly the kind of loss that an insulation or vibration check would have flagged weeks earlier.

CreativeIT services most requested in Chihuahua

We also provide three-phase power quality analysis for plants dealing with harmonics or nuisance trips, and equipment rental including earth ground testers, analyzers and vibration meters.

Serving Chihuahua from Monterrey

CreativeIT has no facility in Chihuahua. From our Monterrey laboratory we organize engineering visits to plants, mines and agribusinesses throughout the state. For remote sites in the sierra, we plan access logistics, safety permits and protective equipment with the client before traveling. For plants in Ciudad Juárez or the capital, visits are usually simpler to arrange, and we often combine several tests, for example grounding, thermography and power quality, into a single trip so your maintenance window is used well.

CNC boards, gas detectors and other instruments can be shipped to our lab for repair, calibration or diagnosis, and rental or purchased equipment reaches any municipality by courier. Our own engineers carry out the analysis without subcontractors and reply the same day. For city-level detail, see our Ciudad Juárez and Chihuahua City pages.

Frequently asked questions

Do you carry out testing at mine sites in the Chihuahua sierra?

Yes. Our engineers travel from Monterrey to mining operations in the state for grounding, motor insulation, vibration and power quality testing. Before the visit we coordinate site induction, permits and protective equipment with your safety department, and all measurements are documented with photos and video.

Can you calibrate the multigas detectors we use underground?

Yes. We calibrate MSA ALTAIR 4X multigas detectors and provide related technical service. You ship the units to our Monterrey lab, where we verify, adjust and return them with a report whose results are traceable to NIST, supporting your safety records and internal audits.

Why run a soil resistivity study before building a new plant?

Soil resistivity determines how many electrodes you need, how deep, and in what arrangement to reach an acceptable ground resistance. Measuring it before construction avoids costly redesigns, especially in rocky or dry ground like much of Chihuahua, and gives your engineering team solid data behind the grounding design.
