What the service covers
The DET24C measures ground resistance using the clamp-on method, so earth electrodes and grounding conductors can be evaluated without disconnecting the system or stopping operations. With this instrument our engineers perform:
- Earth resistance measurement over a range of 0.05 Ω to 1500 Ω.
- True RMS ground leakage current measurement from 0.5 mA to 35 A.
- Checks on ground cables and terminals up to 50 mm, thanks to the elliptical clamp shape.
- Inspection of lightning protection systems and any installation where a current loop can be formed.
The instrument carries a CAT IV 600 V safety rating and a built-in interference filter, so we can work reliably in industrial environments with electrical noise.
