At Creativeit Group we have Megger equipment available for earth resistance testing
The DET14C and DET24C are advanced clamp-on earth resistance testers that set new standards for access, functionality, simple operation, and safety. These units are designed with flat terminals to prevent dirt from building up, ensuring complete and reliable measurements
Designed with flat terminals, they prevent dirt buildup, ensuring measurement integrity and improved reliability over products with interlocking teeth. Other improvements over current-generation products include improved accuracy and up to a 300% increase in battery life. In environments with electrical interference, the built-in filter function provides improved immunity to interference.
The DET14C and DET24C also offer a true RMS AC current measurement function up to 35 amperes. The instrument’s ability to measure current flow in a ground cable is an effective safety measure, especially if the ground cable needs to be disconnected. A high current flow to ground could cause an arc at the moment of disconnection, which could have serious consequences.
Features
- The elliptical clamp shape improves access to ground cables and terminals up to 50 mm.
- Low-maintenance flat clamp interface
- Measures earth resistance from 0.05 Ω to 1500 Ω
- Measures true RMS ground leakage current from 0.5 mA RMS to 35 A RMS.
- CAT IV 600 V safety rating
- Backlit LCD display
Applications
Digital clamp-on earth resistance meters are especially suitable for measuring earth resistance in various installations such as buildings, towers, and RF transmission sites without having to disconnect the system. In addition, they can be used to inspect and verify lightning protection systems and practically any type of installation where a current loop can be generated.
