This device can detect 4 types of gases: EX, H2S, CO and O2. But how do gas detectors really work? They work through electrical signals when a gas is detected. Their sensors are very sensitive and emit signals that give a warning through electrical signals. So how are the sensor signals generated? It starts when the gas enters the sensor through a membrane and the polarization voltage is applied to the membrane electrodes. A REDOX reaction takes place and generates an electric current directly proportional to the amount of gas detected.
