Accurately measure the permeability of toroid-shaped materials across a wide range of sizes. At Creativeit Group we have magnetic material test fixtures so you can perform your permeability measurements.
We have the Agilent 16454A, which is designed for accurate permeability measurements of toroid-shaped magnetic materials. Because of the construction of this fixture, which creates a single turn around the toroid (with no magnetic flux leakage), there is no need to wind a wire around the toroid.
Complex permeability is calculated from the inductance with and without the toroid. When the E4991B with Option E4991B-002 is used as the measurement instrument, direct readings of complex permeability are possible. It also comes with a small and a large adapter to accommodate a wide range of sizes.

When the optional E4991B-007 temperature characteristics test kit is used with the E4991B, the operating temperature range is –55 to +150°C. The temperature characteristics test kit is not available for the E4990A.
